A blood test is a laboratory analysis performed on a blood sample that is usually extracted from a vein in the arm using a needle, or via fingerprick. Blood tests are used to determine physiological and biochemical states, such as disease, mineral content, drug effectiveness, and organ function.
Other conditions such as Hemochromatosis, a disorder that results in too much iron being absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract require blood to be taken from patients on a regular basis.
If you are attending a hospital clinic and require regular blood samples to be taken we support the hospital service by taking blood samples as required by your hospital physician.
Our Phlebotomy Clinic is staffed by highly qualified personnel who will be happy to do any test your doctor requires. Please phone 022-52944 for an appointment.
