The Crystal Project is facilitating a six week block of information and support sessions for families of people with dementia.
Each week we explore a range of topics including an overview of dementia, communication, occupation, legal issues and changing relationships. There are lots of opportunities for sharing experiences and discussion with others in similar situations. The sessions are held from 7-9.30 pm in Mallow Primary Care Centre each Wednesday until November 2nd 2016 in the Conference Room on the ground floor opposite the lifts.
We have been facilitating these sessions since 2011 and feedback is always extremely positive.
Comments from those who have attended include:
‘We felt lucky to have been able to complete the carers course with you and felt we gained a valuable insight into this condition and how best to be of help’
‘Found whole course very helpful in a relaxed environment. No two dementia sufferers alike, interesting to hear about other peoples experiences’
